Love Your Home – Reno Update

It’s been a while since we updated this reno project.  While the majority of the home is complete, we are still waiting for some custom glass inserts to be installed for the stairs.  We’ll be having professional photos taken when it’s fully complete, but here’s a few snapshots of what it looks like.

That’s a really great job with the fireplace. Did you just thin the paint out to get that look?

      Hi Jen,
I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The first coat I used Old White and painted this coat. When the first coat was dry I applied a coat of Old Ochre. I streaked that coat on using very light brush stroked. When that was dry, I then used French Linen to bring in a darker grey colour using a sponge brush. I hope that helps 🙂 ~Sheri

Great transformation! You inspired me with post! I’m thinking of starting to renovate the left side of my kitchen which I’m planning for the longest time, but haven’t started yet because of the busyness of life.

So glad to be an inspiration! We’re putting together a ‘Renovate With Confidence’ handbook for our clients which will help them make decisions for their renovation to ensure their home flows. Wishing you all the luck with your upcoming reno! ~Sheri
